Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

About WTMF-AI:

We're building an AI assistant that users can journal with, share moods, plan days, or talk to when needed.

Your Role:

You'll develop and optimize machine learning pipelines for journaling, mood tracking, and conversational features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and refine ML pipelines for journaling, mood tracking, and conversational features.
  • Work with large language models, embeddings, and classifiers to improve WTMF's intelligence over time.
  • Transform messy data into structured insights for AI learning.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML researchers, backend engineers, and product designers.
  • Maintain performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness for smooth model operation.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar).
  • Ability to build and deploy ML systems end-to-end.
  • Good grasp of data engineering fundamentals (ETL, feature pipelines, distributed systems).
  • Strong understanding of statistics and optimization.
  • Bonus: hands-on work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and MLOps tools.
