Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to support our banking device procurement, import and inventory control management. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate multiple available products/services in the market to meet user requirements.
  • Compare available goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Finalize vendor and cost through RFP process, considering user requirement and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Support User and Legal function for contract execution from SCM perspective.
  • Handle end-to-end activities related to inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions on a regular basis to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories for each product through proper planning and ordering management.
  • Review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, and maintain a tracker & repository.
  • Cost saving through existing contract negotiation with partners/agencies.
  • Raise the need for agreements (as per contracting guidelines) well in time and ensure renewal before expiry.
  • Handle imports shipments end-to-end, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHA, and customs departments for arranging materials in time, according to user requirements.
  • Engage with user functions to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing & inventory, and imports.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure vendor PO issuance and payment on time.
  • Regularly coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products on a daily basis.
  • Support data analysis for preparing monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure products and services are provided with competitive pricing and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 10-12 years of strong experience in Sourcing, Import, and inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and capable of prioritizing workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
