Stripe Developer

We are seeking an experienced Stripe Developer to lead the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of our payment platform.

  • About the Role:
  • This hybrid role combines engineering expertise with administrative ownership, requiring the ideal candidate to have successfully delivered a full Stripe implementation and act as the subject-matter expert for all payment-related systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Administration
    • Own the end-to-end implementation of Stripe modules (Payments, Billing, Connect, Subscriptions).
    • Configure workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds.
    • Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Engineering & Test Data
    • Design and maintain API integrations between Stripe and internal platforms (CRM, ERP, analytics).
    • Build and manage test data environments to simulate payment flows and edge cases.
    • Automate transaction scenarios for validation and regression testing.
    • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerts to ensure reliability and transparency of payment flows.
  • Business Process & Operations
    • Translate business process flows into Stripe configurations.
    • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve payment issues, disputes, and operational bottlenecks.
    • Provide internal training, documentation, and ongoing support for Stripe usage.
