Sustainable Electrical Solutions Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated electrical designer to collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project design and resolve technical issues. As an electrical designer, you will design various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings, and infrastructure projects.

  • Design activities include preparation of reliable electrical designs and tender/construction drawings and documents/specification for the following systems:
  • MV/LV power supply along with single line diagrams
  • LV distribution network
  • Earthing systems and lightning protection
  • Lighting and small power distribution
  • Emergency power supply and associated distribution network

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering, 5-15 years of proven experience as an electrical designer, and excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, knowledge about scripting languages such as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design MV/LV power supply along with single line diagrams
  • Prepare LV distribution network
  • Develop earthing systems and lightning protection
  • Collaborate on lighting and small power distribution
  • Contribute to emergency power supply and associated distribution network

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience as electrical designer (5-15 years)
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinking and passion for pushing boundaries through computational innovation
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and design software
