Electrical Design Manager Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of electrical design projects from conceptualization to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design Execution: Oversee the creation of detailed electrical designs, including BOMs, GA drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise to internal and external customers, ensuring that their requirements are met.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs meet quality and safety standards.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of electrical designers, providing guidance and support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical Design Experience: Proven experience in designing DC SMPS-based power systems for telecom and industrial applications.
  • Electro-Mechanical Designing: Expertise in electro-mechanical designing of electrical panels, UPS panels, ACDB, DCDB, MCC, PCC.
  • CAD Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD for SLD & wiring diagrams.
  • Electrical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical switchgear, cables, bus-bar sizing, mechanical designing, wire harness, product quality & safety norms, and testing of panels.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience in cost/schedule/resource planning & control, project deliverables coordination, project quality assurance, and project MIS reporting.
