Job Title: Technical Project Lead

Job Summary:

The Mobility Research Team is seeking a skilled technical project lead to coordinate multiple applied research projects at the institute.

This role involves representing principal investigators and scientists in project discussions, summarizing and documenting project details, and managing stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and lead multiple (two or three) applied research projects at the institute
  2. Represent PIs and scientists in project discussions and document outcomes
  3. Work closely with multiple stakeholders across different organizations
  4. Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders through reports, meetings, and presentations
  5. Help manage scope, timelines, and quality of research output in projects
  6. Recommend tools, methods, and processes to improve project tracking and execution
  7. Serve as a single point of contact for project-related requests from stakeholders
  8. Create and maintain presentations related to various project engagements

Requirements:

For this role, we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience in a technical role interfacing between research/engineering teams and customer-facing teams
  • Basic familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and applications
  • Good analytical skills and ability to distil complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
