Enterprise Configure-Price-Quote Solutions Architect

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a team of experts in architecting and delivering enterprise-grade Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solutions leveraging Conga CPQ integrated with Salesforce.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex CPQ solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role demands expertise in advanced CPQ configurations, contract lifecycle management, complex product modeling, and seamless integration with various enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design: Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Conga CPQ solutions that align with business objectives and leverage Salesforce best practices.
• Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including data models, process flows, and integration touchpoints.
• Design advanced pricing models, product bundling strategies, discounting rules, approval workflows, and guided selling experiences.
• Ensure solutions are compliant with enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements, and Salesforce governor limits.

• Implementation & Delivery: Lead full lifecycle Conga CPQ implementation projects from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Configure Conga CPQ components such as Product Catalog, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes.
• Manage CLM configurations including template creation, clause library, and contract generation.
• Develop and deploy custom Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and Conga-specific scripting when out-of-the-box capabilities are insufficient.

• Technical Leadership: Set development standards and enforce coding best practices within the Salesforce and Conga CPQ ecosystem.
• Perform technical reviews of design documents, configurations, and code to ensure quality, reusability, and performance.
• Mentor junior developers, administrators, and functional consultants.
• Define technical roadmaps and recommend enhancements to existing CPQ/CLM systems.

• Integration & Data Management: Architect and implement integrations between Conga CPQ and third-party systems such as ERP, billing, payment gateways, and inventory management platforms.
• Use REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and Salesforce-native tools for integration.
• Manage data migration strategies for products, pricing, and contract records ensuring accuracy and data integrity.

• Problem Solving & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to CPQ performance, scalability, and integration failures.
• Optimize query execution, caching strategies, and code performance to reduce latency in quoting processes.
• Proactively identify system bottlenecks and recommend architectural improvements.

• Stakeholder & Project Management: Engage with business stakeholders, product managers, and solution consultants to validate requirements and design solutions that meet functional and technical needs.
• Work closely with QA teams to define testing strategies, automation coverage, and performance benchmarks.
• Provide technical presentations, proof-of-concepts, and demonstrations to stakeholders.

Requirements: 10 - 12 years in IT with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Conga CPQ/CLM. Strong Salesforce platform expertise, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and integration patterns. Experience with Conga CPQ constructs: Product Catalog, Price Rules, Advanced Approvals, Quote Templates, Workflow, and Contract Management. Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, governor limits, and security model. Proven track record of leading CPQ implementations in large enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills: Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud integration with CPQ. Middleware platforms for ERP/CRM integrations. REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and integration authentication strategies. Advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis and migration. Performance tuning of CPQ rules and skills: strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and deliver iterative enhancements. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
