Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Head to lead our Plant Engineering Business Unit. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Experience in engineering project management, operations delivery, and plant engineering processes is essential.

Preferred candidates have hands-on experience in handling multidiscipline large engineering projects in oil and gas, power plants, petrochemicals, refineries, and water treatment plants. They should also have experience managing teams of 300+ resources executing projects for large customers across various regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of plant engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and budget execution.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring effective resource allocation, task management, and career development.
  • Act as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, expectations, timelines, and report preparation.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans for successful delivery.
  • Ensure all engineering processes and deliverables meet required quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and adherence to financial targets.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, striving for enhanced efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality.
  • Appraise and groom team members to improve their performance and develop their competencies.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in a plant engineering services organization.
  • Strong multidisciplinary knowledge, especially in process, piping, mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
