Job Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Functional Tester to support our biometric integration program.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating biometric device integrations, ensuring compliance with functional requirements, and supporting end-to-end testing of identity management workflows.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute functional and system test cases for biometric modules, including facial, fingerprint, and iris recognition.
  • Validate integration of biometric devices with enrolment, verification, and identification workflows.
  • Conduct interface validation testing for third-party systems, such as Biometric Engines, SDKs, and internal APIs.
  • Perform offline and network resilience testing to ensure message queuing and retry mechanisms function correctly.
  • Document test results, log defects, and track resolution in coordination with development teams.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Support configuration testing for biometric exemptions, validation rules, and device plug-ins.
  • Participate in defect triage meetings and provide input on severity and impact assessments.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in functional system testing, preferably in biometric or identity management systems.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with JSON-based validation, REST APIs, and device configuration frameworks.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
