Biometrics R&D Engineer Job Description

As a Biometrics R&D Engineer, you will be working on the design and development of biometric solutions such as fingerprint/iris recognition software for mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing new biometric technologies, mentoring team members, and contributing to end-to-end solution projects.

\Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong domain knowledge in biometrics, image processing, pattern recognition & machine learning with hands-on experience.
  • Experience in designing and developing biometric recognition software solutions.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and research mindset to define new problems.
  • Self-motivation and leadership skills to mentor team members.
  • Excellent programming skills in C/C++ and OpenCV, as well as knowledge of Python and R.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred skills include machine learning, deep learning knowledge, and Java programming.
