As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced visualization techniques.

You will connect to various data sources, ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization, develop and manage data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to support analytical needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights, implement and enforce best practices in data visualization, governance, and security.

You will perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Power BI solutions for speed and scalability, support ad-hoc reporting and self-service analytics needs of business users.

You will stay updated with the latest Power BI features and Microsoft BI ecosystem enhancements.

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced visualization techniques.
  • Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud data warehouses) and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and manage data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to support analytical needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement and enforce best practices in data visualization, governance, and security.
  • Perform data analysis, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Power BI solutions for speed and scalability.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and self-service analytics needs of business users.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in Power BI development and data visualization.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL, data preparation, and data cleansing.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
