Job Title: Interior Designer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D design professional with expertise in AutoCAD and residential interior design. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing detailed 2D drawings and layouts for interior projects, collaborating closely with the design and execution teams to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create precise 2D floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD software.
  • Prepare comprehensive working drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, and other technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with interior designers and site teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from clients or senior designers, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Verify that drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and regulations.
  • Assist in material specification, bill of quantities (BOQs), and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate filing and archiving of drawings and design records.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in 2D drafting for residential interiors is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of basic interior design principles and site coordination is essential.
  • Familiarity with residential interior standards and detailing is beneficial.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines are essential.
  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with other design tools is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of 3D visualization is desirable but not mandatory.
