Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and coordination of indirect tax and trade compliance functions to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business growth through effective trade compliance strategies.
  • Providing guidance on indirect tax implications of transactions, projects, and supply chain changes.
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the organization.
  • Representing the company in hearings and litigation related to trade compliance and indirect taxes.

Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA degree from a reputable institution.
  • 8-10 years of post-qualification experience with strong exposure to GST, Customs, DGFT, and trade compliance.

  • Expert knowledge of GST, Customs, and DGFT policies and export-import regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
