At the forefront of cloud computing, we are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As an Azure Cloud Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to internal users and clients, focusing on Azure cloud services.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to and resolving help desk requests related to Azure services.
  • Monitoring Azure systems daily and responding promptly to security or usability concerns.
  • Managing Azure resources, including virtual machines, Azure Entra ID, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure DevOps, and Azure Databricks.
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving Azure-related technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Applying updates, patches, and configuration changes to VMs as required.
  • Managing and maintaining in-house IT operations applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with SOC2 and HITRUST audits through Azure governance and monitoring tools.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with cloud-based technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or cloud support role.
  • Experience managing users, groups, and roles in Azure Entra ID.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure DevOps, and Azure Databricks.
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for Azure services and resources.
  • Experience managing Azure virtual machines and related services.
  • Experience working with Azure monitoring tools.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for Azure automation.
  • Familiarity with Azure governance and cost management tools.
