Job Description:

At the heart of pharmacovigilance, Data Officers play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of drugs. We seek skilled professionals to join our dynamic team and contribute to this critical process.

  • Data Officers will be responsible for receipt, processing, and entry of safety information for clients, with timely completion being paramount.
  • The management of email boxes, registering, triaging, assigning, and coordinating vigilance case processing are also key responsibilities.
  • Effective communication with local reporters and responding to queries from clients and reporters is crucial.
  • Periodic reconciliations will be performed to confirm proper handling of vigilance reports for clients.
  • Data Officers will support local pharmacovigilance activities and participate in audits/inspections as needed.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, nursing, or a science-related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • 2+ years' experience in pharmacovigilance, including data entry and quality control of cases, is essential.
  • Proven ability to work under deadlines, manage time effectively, and communicate complex concepts is vital.
  • Strong understanding of GVP, GCP, FDA, and EU PV regulations, as well as pharmaceutical backgrounds and regulatory requirements, is necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail and adaptability, are required.
