Job Summary:

NTT DATA Services is seeking an Email Security Specialist - Security Services to join our team in Bangalore, Karnátaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and Maintain Security Services: Oversee the configuration and administration of Postfix, Mimecast, Exchange Online Protection and O365 Defender to ensure robust email security and compliance.
  2. Threat Management: Monitor and respond to email security threats, phishing attacks, and other malicious activities. Implement proactive measures to mitigate potential risks.
  3. Policy and Rule Configuration: Develop and enforce security policies, rules, and best practices for email protection. Ensure alignment with organizational security standards and compliance requirements.
  4. Incident Response: Lead incident response efforts for email security breaches. Conduct thorough investigations, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular reports on security incidents, policy compliance, and system performance. Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations and procedures.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, compliance, and other relevant teams to ensure cohesive and efficient security strategies. Provide guidance and training to junior staff members.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in email security technologies, threats, and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to existing security measures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in email security, with a focus on Postfix, Mimecast, Exchange Online Protection and O365 Defender.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing Postfix, Mimecast ,Exchange Online Protection, O365 Defender, and related security tools. Strong understanding of email protocols, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze security threats and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to mentor and guide junior staff members.
