Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering market-defining communication products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical credibility, strategic foresight, and organizational leadership skills.

 

About the Role:

 

As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for engineering excellence, driving long-term product innovation aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business growth goals.

 

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of network protocols, cloud-native architecture, RF systems, and embedded software development. They will also possess strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate technology decisions into measurable business outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the R&D strategy in alignment with corporate objectives, focusing on innovation, scalability, and time-to-market.
  • Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that positions the company as a leader in wireless communications, RF systems, and embedded platforms.
  • Partner with the executive leadership team on M&A evaluations, IP strategy, and global R&D investments.

 

Operational Excellence:

 

Lead and scale high-performance engineering teams across hardware, firmware, and platform engineering, ensuring operational efficiency and delivery excellence.

 

Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, QA, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure cohesive product lifecycle execution.

 

Innovation & Technology Oversight:

 

Steer next-gen product development in areas such as Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, SDN, IoT, cloud-managed networks, and AI/ML-enabled network management.

 

Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging research partnerships, prototyping, and early adoption of disruptive technologies.

 

People & Culture:

  • Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent while nurturing a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance goals, conduct executive reviews, and mentor future technical leaders across domains.
  • Lead organizational transformation initiatives including agile adoption, DevOps practices, and engineering process maturity.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15+ years of leadership experience in R&D for wireless communication, networking, and embedded systems.
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering market-defining communication products (Access Points, P2P/P2MP radios, Layer 2/3 switches).

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and ability to translate technology decisions into measurable business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with hardware design cycles including PCB, RF, ASIC, and FPGA development.
