Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Optical Engineer to play a pivotal role in analyzing optical design using advanced software tools. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for building, validating, and optimizing optical models for lens systems, surfaces, and optimization tolerancing.

Your expertise in non-sequential ray tracing, ghost analysis, scatter modeling, and experience in optical material properties, coatings, and surfaces will be instrumental in driving our cutting-edge optical systems forward.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior optical engineers to apply advanced stray light mitigation strategies and integrate findings into product design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize optical models for complex systems
  • Analyze and mitigate stray light effects using Ansys SPEOS and Zemax Optic Studio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical designs into product development
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Optics or Physics or Photonics or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with stray light analysis using Ansys SPEOS and Zemax Optic Studio
  • Strong knowledge of non-sequential ray tracing, ghost analysis, scatter modeling
  • Experience in optical material properties, coatings, and surfaces
  • Proficiency in CAD integration for opto-mechanical system modeling
