Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our optical metrology systems. Your responsibilities will include various types of testing, including integration testing, system interface testing, functional testing, regression testing, and benchmarking.

You will cover the end-to-end metrology solution workflow from operating optical metrology tools to producing thin film/OCD metrology solutions. This involves collaborating with product, hardware, software, application, and characterization teams to design SQA testing strategies and plans based on product requirements and technical design documents.

Additionally, you will create detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage. You will plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities to meet product release schedules and requirements. Moreover, you will design, implement, and maintain test automation capabilities to improve efficiency and coverage.

Further, you will develop and maintain testing suites and processes for feature testing, regression testing, release testing, and benchmarking. You will document software defects and work closely with software teams to address them. You will also track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Lastly, you will identify software quality gaps and provide solutions. To succeed in this role, you must stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance engineering

• Proficiency in testing frameworks, automation tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
