Cloud Solutions Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting with clients and proposing architectural solutions to help them migrate from on-premise to cloud or optimize cloud spend between public clouds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experiment with new age cloud offerings, define best practices as a thought leader for cloud, automation & Dev-Ops, and provide solution vision and technical expertise across multiple channels.
  • Continuously update skills and learn new technologies as the technology and client needs evolve.
  • Utilize experience in GCP to build hybrid-cloud solutions for customers.
  • Provide leadership to project teams and facilitate the definition of project deliverables around core Cloud-based technology and methods.
  • Define tracking mechanisms and ensure IT standards and methodology are met; deliver high-quality results.
  • Participate in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code, and other artifacts.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technical concepts in GCP.
  • Advise customers on security, risk, and compliance, including access management, network setup, and regulatory compliance.
  • Be a passionate, persuasive, and articulate Cloud professional who can quickly establish interest and credibility.
  • Have good business judgment, a comfortable communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with customers and teams.
  • Exhibit a strong service attitude and a commitment to quality.
  • Be highly organized and efficient.
  • Confidently work with others to inspire a high-quality standard.

Requirements:

  • Passion for technology, insatiable desire to learn the latest cloud tech, analytical aptitude, and a strong 'desire to deliver' are essential.
  • 8+ years of experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (GCP) and IT operational experience in a global enterprise environment.
  • 4+ years of proven experience as a GCP Architect.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Certified candidates are preferred.

Education:

While not required, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from a reputable institute or programming experience since age 12 is desirable. However, we believe passion and drive are more important than formal education.
