Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our team at CES. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in investment operations, with a proven track record of analyzing complex financial data and making informed investment decisions. They will also possess strong quantitative and qualitative skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for a highly skilled Investment Analyst who can analyze complex financial data, identify potential investment opportunities, and make informed investment decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing deal analysis, loan portfolio purchases, loan stratification analysis, historical performance reviews, price modeling, credit facilities management, forecast modeling, cumulative collections curves analysis, runoff models development, and other specialty finance opportunities.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for creating investment memos and research summaries, conducting market research, summarizing qualitative and quantitative aspects of deals, providing clear and concise summaries of investment deals, highlighting key risks and opportunities, assisting in the analysis and valuation of investments, monitoring and reporting on monthly performance of investment positions, collecting and cleansing data tapes and other inputs from external counterparties, tracking expected vs. actual performance variances, flagging and identifying deviations from assumptions, assisting the FinOps team and valuation committee in updating valuation models, and portfolio management and monitoring.
