HVAC Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC design engineer to join our team. As an HVAC design engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop HVAC Systems: Design and develop HVAC systems that meet the needs of our clients, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems.
  • Perform Load Calculations: Perform heat load calculations, cooling load calculations, and airflow analysis using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20.
  • Select and Size Equipment: Select and size HVAC equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.) based on project requirements.
  • Design Ductwork and Piping Layouts: Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes.
  • Optimize HVAC Systems: Perform energy efficiency analysis and optimize HVAC systems for cost and sustainability.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and contractors for system integration.
  • Prepare Technical Reports: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation for project approvals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HVAC Engineering or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in HVAC engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in Software Tools: Proficiency in software tools like HAP, Trace 700, Carrier E-20, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Experience in HVAC Design: Experience in HVAC design and development.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
