Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical BIM Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing the production and verification of BIM models and drawings for selected projects.

Your primary focus will be on technical quality assurance, client feedback, and effective communication of any changes or modifications. You will also engage with regional offices and teams regarding safe design requirements, flag risks, and resolve issues while maintaining strong relationships with project colleagues.

You will review work, drive the culture of checking and accountability in the team, and liaise with the design professional and BIM Manager to ensure adherence to schedules and quality requirements.

In addition, you will work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design, coordinate with other disciplines to mitigate design challenges, and design Health & Safety management for the project works.

You will develop BIM Execution Plans and criteria, follow BIM content standards and development procedures, prepare your discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings, and leverage BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.

This role requires a high level of communication and writing skills, leveraging BIM software and tools, and possessing good knowledge of REVIT, Plant 3D, BIM 360, and Microsoft Office.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering/BE Mechanical from a recognized University
  • 10-14 years of experience as a BIM Modeler
  • Sound technical knowledge, academically good
  • Familiar with British codes, drawing standards, and practices related to Mechanical/water utility modeling and drawing production
  • Awareness of software used for BIM modeling
  • Good knowledge of Revit, Plant 3D, BIM 360, etc.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Flexible to adopt new work/challenge work as per business requirement
  • Compliance of Arcadis business management system
  • Health & Safety Management
