Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Qualcomm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely generation and sending of invoices, maintaining and updating customer billing information, and ensuring all processes comply with internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the billing process, ensuring invoices are generated and sent out accurately and on time
  • Maintain and update customer billing information
  • Ensure all processes comply with internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control requirements
  • Process and post customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Ensure accurate and timely application of all incoming payments
  • Reconcile payments and handle unapplied cash
  • Ability to identify potential risks and proactively addressing them to the higher management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet short deadlines
  • Stakeholder engagement, ability to communicate effectively and understand situations
  • Innovative thinking to explore process improvements and automations

Requirements:

  • Excellent problem solving & Analytical thinking
  • Exposure in working in ERP instance (preferably Oracle)
  • Excellent verbal and communication abilities
  • Ability to learn/understand standards & processes quickly and adhere to them accurately
  • Has good fundamental organization & prioritization skills
  • Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
  • Effective interpersonal & communication skills and highly professional style
  • Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
  • Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook
