Job Title: Oracle - Database Administrator

A key role in our organization is available for a skilled Oracle Database Administrator.

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our database systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Database Design and Implementation: You will be responsible for designing and implementing databases to meet business requirements, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Security and Compliance: You will maintain robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Performance Tuning: You will analyze and optimize database performance to ensure efficient use of resources, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Backup and Recovery: You will develop and implement effective backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: You will monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize impact on business operations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Key Requirements
  • Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2, Oracle Database 12c, 19c, rman, Shell scripting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with database design, implementation, and optimization to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and query optimization techniques to improve database performance.
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system and experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with database security and compliance to ensure data protection and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of OEM and concurrent managers to monitor and manage database performance.
  • Understanding of database architecture and concepts to ensure optimal database design and implementation.
