Senior Financial Master Data Architect

The role of a Senior Financial Master Data Architect involves overseeing the development and implementation of financial master data management systems across an organization. This includes defining and maintaining the overall architecture of these systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure, and driving end-to-end solution architecture.

  • Focusing on delivering customer-focused Master Data Management (MDM) systems, including vendor, customer, material, and service master data.
  • Making technology decisions related to the client MDM environment, interpreting requirements, and architecting MDM solutions.
  • Developing deep knowledge of SAP systems, including configuration and maintenance of master data fields.
  • Leading end-to-end solution architecture for MDM, encompassing data model definition and refinement, data quality assessment, and remediation design.
  • Working with MDM technologies and tools across companies to enable the management and integration of master data.
  • Utilizing automation technologies like RPA and possessing a working knowledge of SAP (HANA).
  • A key responsibility is actively deriving new initiatives, evaluating vendors, and leading project delivery in collaboration with process owners and IT verticals.
  • Maintaining good stakeholder management and adherence to ethical behavior are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Management and Transformation of current finance and accounting processes for simplification and automation within a shared service environment.
  • Making technology decisions related to the client MDM environment and architecting MDM solutions.
  • Driving the end-to-end solution architecture of MDM, including data model definition and refinement.
  • Using MDM technologies and tools across companies to enable the management and integration of master data.
  • Possessing working knowledge of all technologies used for automation purposes such as RPA etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP (HANA) for leading projects focused on simplification and automation.
  • Deriving new initiatives, including evaluation, discussion, and selection of vendors/implementation partners.
  • Timely delivery of projects in collaboration with process owners and IT verticals.
  • Identification of gaps in existing processes, support, and driving closure of related projects through automation in SSC verticals.
  • Maintaining good stakeholder management.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior to adhere to company policies and current laws.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SAP systems and their configuration and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in making technology decisions and architecting MDM solutions.
  • Understanding of automation technologies like RPA and SAP (HANA).
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders and lead project delivery.
  • Maintain good communication skills and ability to adapt to changing situations.
