Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Azure Data Engineer. This position will involve building, maintaining, and supporting data & analytics solutions using Azure Data Engineering technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Development: Utilize Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse to design and implement efficient data pipelines.
  • Data Cleansing and Transformation: Apply data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment techniques using PySpark and Databricks notebooks.
  • Incident Resolution and Support: Handle incident resolution, bug fixing, RCA, and provide on-call support as required.
  • Code Reviews and Enhancements: Perform code reviews, enhancements, and performance tuning to ensure optimal data solution delivery.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders and SMEs to deliver scalable data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline data solution deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Azure Databricks: Experience working with Azure Databricks, including data processing, analytics, and machine learning.
  • PySpark: Proficiency in PySpark for data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment.
  • Azure Synapse Analytics: Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics for data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Azure Data Factory: Experience designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • ADLS Gen2 and Blob Storage: Familiarity with ADLS Gen2 and Blob Storage for data storage and retrieval.
  • Python, SQL, JSON, Parquet: Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, JSON, and Parquet.
  • Azure DevOps: Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Data Warehousing and Data Modeling: Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
  • ServiceNow: Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident/change management.
