Job Title: Operations Improvement Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our consulting group, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and innovation across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by providing expert guidance on process improvement and cost reduction strategies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client operations, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for implementation.
  • Analyze client data to develop financial models and create project deliverables that demonstrate potential savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate with clients to draft and release Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and support them through the supplier selection process.
  • Develop negotiation strategy presentations to help clients secure better pricing from suppliers.
  • Evaluate contracts to ensure alignment with negotiated procurement terms and facilitate redlines from the legal team as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in a consulting firm or industry, with specific experience in operations, supply-chain and/or procurement required.
  • Proven problem-solving and time management ability, with excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously and utilize presentation and interpersonal skills daily.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
