Job Title: Systems Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless service delivery, monitoring system performance, and implementing improvements as necessary. A typical day will involve engaging in proactive monitoring and maintenance of systems, ensuring that all operational standards are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
  • Collaborating and managing the team to perform tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in Oracle Solaris.
  • Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks.
  • Experience in performance tuning and capacity planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Solaris.
  • A strong educational background is required.
