About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncology Territory Manager to join our team at Astellas Pharma. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • To establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in the territory, providing them with education and support on our oncology products.
  • To develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives, including identifying opportunities for growth and developing strategies to address customer needs.
  • To analyze market trends and competitor activity, using this information to inform sales decisions and optimize performance.
  • To provide regular updates to management on sales performance, market conditions, and other relevant issues.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to ensure alignment and effective execution of company initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Pharmacy.
  • 4-5 years experience in sales function in Oncology/Solid tumour segment.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting business objectives.
  • Domain knowledge proficiency (cancer/relevant disease area).
  • Experience in MNCs with innovative product promotion will be desirable.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around ₹12-15 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. However, we want to emphasize that this is just an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
