Job Title: Application Monitoring and Optimization Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Application Monitoring and Optimization Analyst. As an expert in this field, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing applications to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.

 

About the Role:

This role is ideal for a talented individual with experience in operational application management. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and resolving complex application issues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and configuration of Dynatrace.
  • Operational application management.
  • Troubleshooting user issues and root cause analysis.
  • Identifying recurring issues and long-term fixes.
  • Setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Fine-tuning alerts.
  • Integration of Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.
  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.
  • Analyzing and optimizing application code for error handling and alerting.
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Liaison between application and platform teams.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.

 

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in application monitoring and optimization.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying and resolving complex application issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Dynatrace and Splunk is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is highly desirable.
