Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of innovative architectural and sustainability-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Manage 3D Models: Utilize Rhino and Grasshopper to create detailed architectural models for conceptual and design phases, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborate with Design Teams: Work closely with designers to develop energy assessment models that optimize form, function, and environmental performance, resulting in high-performance building outcomes.
  • Assist in Building Performance Simulations: Conduct thermal comfort, daylighting, shading, and energy efficiency simulations to identify areas for improvement and inform design decisions.
  • Apply Building Physics Principles: Interpret and apply building physics principles to support passive design strategies and ensure buildings meet energy-efficient standards.
  • Integrate Energy Performance Data: Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate building energy performance data into the design process, informing design decisions and optimizing building performance.
  • Prepare Visualizations and Documentation: Develop clear visualizations, diagrams, and technical documentation for internal use and client presentations, effectively communicating project information.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Rhinoceros (Rhino) and Grasshopper for 3D modeling and parametric design.
  • Working knowledge of building physics, passive design strategies, and energy-efficient design principles.
  • Familiarity with environmental analysis tools such as Ladybug/Honeybee, SketchUp, or IES VE is highly desirable.
  • Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
