Job Title: Public Relations Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Professional to join our Marketing team and drive our PR strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful PR campaigns, building strong relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and effectively communicating our brand message and expertise in workplace design and build to target audiences.


Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive proactive PR strategies aligned with the organisation's overall business objectives
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers in the corporate, real estate, and design sectors
  • Thought Leadership: Position the organisation as a thought leader in the industry by securing speaking engagements, contributing to industry publications, and participating in relevant conferences
  • Content Creation: Research, write, and distribute high-quality press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials
  • Event Management: Plan and execute PR-related events, including press conferences, exhibitions, and press tours
  • Media Monitoring: Track and analyse media coverage to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans and manage PR efforts during potential crises

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  2. Minimum 6 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the corporate, real estate, or design sectors
  3. Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns
  4. Strong writing and communication skills
  5. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Strong understanding of media relations and crisis communication
  8. Experience with social media and digital PR
