Medical Liaison Specialist

The Medical Liaison is a key position that demands effective communication, medical knowledge, and empathy. The primary responsibilities include guiding patients through their medical journey, ensuring accurate data recording, and maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Consultation & Pre-Screening
Engage with prospective patients to understand their medical concerns, goals, and expectations. Provide them with suitable treatment options and assess basic eligibility based on medical history.
- Medical Report Analysis
Analyze diagnostic reports and medical documents to assist in preliminary evaluation before forwarding to partner hospitals or specialists.
- Treatment Coordination
Help patients comprehend recommended procedures, expected outcomes, recovery timelines, and pre/post-operative care essentials.
- Bridge Between Patient & Surgeon
Act as a medical intermediary—translating clinical information into patient-friendly language and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Trust-Building & Support
Offer empathetic, medically accurate advice to build trust and alleviate patient anxiety—especially for those traveling overseas for surgery.
- Data Accuracy & Documentation
Ensure that patient data, preferences, and medical information are recorded accurately and shared securely with relevant partners.
- Ethical Guidance & Compliance
Adhere to patient confidentiality, ethical practices, and informed consent standards in all interactions.
- Post-Consultation Follow-Up
Check in with patients at key milestones before and after travel, ensuring continuity of care and satisfaction with the service provided.
