Job Title: Middleware Integration Developer

This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IIB, ESQL, Java, and message flow development.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integration flows using IIB.
  • Develop and maintain message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integration solutions.
  • Document design, development, and operational procedures.
  • Work with other middleware technologies and tools as needed.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an IIB developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
