We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Snowflake Data Architect. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake.

The role requires a deep understanding of data governance, performance tuning, cost optimization, and data security. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and reporting teams to deliver high-quality analytical datasets.

A key responsibility of this role is to design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions. You will also be responsible for defining and implementing best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.

  • Design and implement scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  • Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion ETL.
  • Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development (or similar cloud-native ETL tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
  • Deep understanding of financial data models (customer 360, payments, credit/debit, claims, risk, fraud).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect / Data Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration.
