We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Business Intelligence Analyst to fill a key business support function. This position will provide the tools for optimal data usage, insights generation, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Data Analysis & Solutions:
- Organize tasks autonomously, ensuring deadlines are met and delivery aligns with objectives.
- Comply with the delivery process, including understanding requirements, implementing solutions, documentation, defining the data model, and performing testing.
- Ensure solutions are tailored to business needs while following general data principles.
- Cover requirements from all data areas and purposes, including business, regulatory, risk, process performance, and data governance.
- Play a consultant role whenever data is involved, providing out-of-the-box solutions.
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Ensure proper documentation and process standards are fulfilled.
- Provide periodical updates to management on activity and achievements.
- Ensure team communication and cross-training.
- Support data literacy progress across business counterparts and other initiatives.
- Education:
- An academic background and working level in a related field.
- A Master's degree in data analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or economics would be an asset.
- Skills:
- Ability to problem-solve data requirements in a clear and methodical way.
- Proven analytical skills to assist the business in reviewing and presenting data professionally.
- Experience in QLIK, Power BI, Python, R, or equivalent Business Intelligence and data analytics tools.
- Excellent data mining skills and ease in working with data in different formats (Excel, SQL, Access, etc.).
- Good presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the business, including IT and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong quantitative skills.
- Good project management skills to structure, organize, and plan activities and deadlines for yourself and the team.
- Very good people and interpersonal skills.
- Experience:
- Experience in the financial service industry, consultancy, or an aligned function is preferred.
