Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the steel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in shifts and handle shift activities, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Execute Preventive Maintenance Plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Attend to electrical breakdowns and resolve issues within stipulated timeframes.
  • Update maintenance records, including PM plans, BD data, machine history cards, and other relevant information.
  • Monitor power distribution and energy consumption to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure availability of utility facilities, including EOT Cranes, DG Sets, Air Compressors, Weigh Scales, CCTV, and Solar systems.
  • Execute statutory compliances, including testing of lifting tools and tackles, calibration of weighing scales, and spare parts management.
  • Participate in improvement projects to enhance machine reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation according to IATF standards and possess basic knowledge of maintenance parameters, such as MTTR, MTBF, SCADA systems, and power distribution.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with troubleshooting of S7300/400, G120.S120, PLC, and drives, as well as equipment control systems, sensors, AC motors, synchronous motors, and SAP-PP/MM modules.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the steel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, energy consumption, and equipment control.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC, drives, and equipment control systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP-PP/MM modules and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain accurate records.
