The Director of Marketing and Communications will lead the development and implementation of our marketing strategies across various digital channels, ensuring alignment with the Fairmont brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual digital marketing plans, focusing on traffic acquisition, sales, and conversion testing.
  • Lead the strategy development of digital marketing campaigns targeting multiple audiences across various digital channels.
  • Manage external agencies, including public relations, creative, and media buy, to ensure effective brand representation.
  • Oversee strategic partnerships to maintain awareness and publicity for the hotel.
  • Ensure efficient management of external agencies and partnerships.
  • Develop and execute publicity plans for hotel events, Arcade, Food and Beverage venues, and seasonal promotions.
  • Conceptualize, manage, and execute media engagement activities, including media familiarization trips and media hosting opportunities.
  • Maintain hotel press materials, including news releases, executive biographies, and photography.
  • Ensure effective media coverage for hotel programs in key markets.
  • Serve as the hotel spokesperson for official statements to media, especially during crisis situations.
  • Develop media plans in accordance with hotel goals and objectives.
  • Develop creative artworks and text copy, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Initiate, identify, and review partnership and sponsorship opportunities aligned with hotel goals.
  • Support hotel Corporate Social Responsibility programs to ensure awareness.
  • Identify community engagement opportunities and support the hotel's loyalty programs for effective use as a promotional and awareness channel.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines for all hotel collaterals.
  • Develop and oversee photography for hotel event spaces, dining venues, spa, and Arcade to ensure brand guidelines are met.
  • Manage an archival system for the hotel's history while maintaining an updated PR library.
  • Oversee and develop hotel collateral to support Sales and Event teams, as well as operational departments.
  • Support Talent and Culture team to achieve their goals through internal communications and external outreach, including media interviews, maintaining digital media awareness, and award submissions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Luxury resorts and a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Pre-opening experience, remote location work, and high-volume hotel experience are desirable.
  • Indian nationals only.
