Job Title: Principal Application Security Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned security professional to lead our application security initiatives. As Principal Application Security Strategist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Security Architecture: Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures for applications, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory demands.
  • Vulnerability Management: Leverage threat modeling, static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA) tools to identify, triage, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Secure Code Review: Conduct thorough source code reviews to provide actionable security recommendations to developers, promoting adherence to secure coding best practices.
  • Threat Modeling Risk Analysis: Perform in-depth threat modeling to anticipate potential attack vectors and inform the design of robust security architectures.
  • DevSecOps Enablement: Lead the integration of security automation within continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enhancing DevSecOps capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of application security principles, SDLC, and threat modeling.
  • Proven experience in vulnerability management, secure code review, and penetration testing.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with security automation tools and CI/CD pipeline integration.
