Quality Assurance Engineer Position

Potential Engineering, a leading OEM committed to water pollution control & recovery, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services by developing and implementing quality control and assurance processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all products and services meet the required quality standards;
  • Developing and implementing effective quality control and assurance processes and procedures;
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance data to identify areas for improvement;
  • Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements;
  • Ensuring that all workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations;
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues;
  • Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements;
  • Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes to ensure compliance;
  • Verifying raw materials and inspecting bought-out components to ensure quality;
  • Training quality and production personnel to improve quality and reduce rejection;
  • Maintaining accurate records of rejection, rework, and 5S monitoring at the department;

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience;
  • At least 2 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance/control, or a similar role;
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, including ASTM SEC II Part A & B, Sec IX, Sec V, Sec VII;
  • Familiarity with ISO knowledge and 7 QC tools;
  • Experience in Oil & Gas processes is preferred;
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills;
  • Technical understanding, design skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;
  • Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Inspection skills;
  • Experience in Quality Auditing and Quality Management;
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
