Factory Operations Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Factory Operations Director to lead and oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily factory operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  • Develop production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet output targets on time and within budget.
  • Lead and supervise production staff across all facility departments.
  • Monitor staff performance, machinery condition, and adherence to quality standards through regular inspections.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to enforce quality assurance protocols and continuously improve product standards.
  • Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal working condition and minimize downtime.
  • Implement and monitor safety policies, ensuring compliance with statutory and industry regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for raw material supply, logistics, and timely delivery of finished goods.
  • Present regular production performance reports to senior management.
  • Foster a positive, productive work environment and actively resolve operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years managerial experience in a factory setting; background in machinery, metal products, or similar manufacturing highly desired.
  • Demonstrable career stability and progression in past roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of production management, maintenance protocols, quality standards, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, production management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process optimization methodologies preferred.

  • Prior experience in machinery manufacturing, metal fabrication, or related industries (aluminum, steel, equipment, etc.).
  • History of long-term employment and professional advancement in previous roles.
  • Ability to mentor and build high-performing teams in a factory environment.
