Senior Back-End Engineer

The role involves overseeing all technical aspects of projects and providing leadership to development and design teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing highly scalable, secure, and performant services that are low-cost to maintain and operate.
  • Leading complex cross-functional projects involving technology and business resources.
  • Architecting, designing, reviewing, and documenting high-level and detailed solutions.
  • Experience in building large-scale platforms dealing with real-time complex transactions and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Working closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions meeting product needs.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong back-end development skills in Python, including frameworks like Django.
  • Good experience with MySQL - designing database schema, writing queries etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solutioning complex problems.
  • Solid analytical skills with ability to refine strategic, technical roadmaps and synthesizing to make improvements and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in drafting best coding practices and designing highly scalable, secure, easy-to-maintain software solutions.
  • Ability to continuously drive results, display a high level of confidence, inspire and motivate team performance.
