Job Title

A user experience design position is available for someone with a passion for creating intuitive and functional interfaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into user-centered designs that delight and engage users.

About the Role

This role requires strong design fundamentals, a forward-thinking mindset, and excellent collaboration skills. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • User Experience Design: Craft wireframes, user flows, and prototypes in Figma to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Lead user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine designs.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility, inclusivity, and responsiveness standards.
  • User Interface Design: Create pixel-perfect UI components, layouts, and design systems in Figma.
  • Apply motion design or micro-interactions to enhance usability.
  • Maintain design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
  • Design-to-Development Handoff: Utilize tools like Figma's Dev Mode, Zeplin, or Storybook to provide engineers with clean assets and clear design specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure faithful implementation of designs.
  • Understand front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic React/Flutter concepts) to better communicate with developers.
  • New-Age Skills: Effectively communicate with engineers to ensure accurate and high-performance design implementation.
  • Leverage AI-assisted design tools to speed up ideation and asset generation.
  • Explore and prototype using no-code/low-code platforms for rapid validation.
  • Contribute to maintaining and evolving a scalable design system.
  • Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with senior designers to learn best practices and continuously improve craft.
  • Stay updated on design trends, interaction models, and AI-driven design innovations.
  • Communicate design rationale and present work clearly to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio demonstrating capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, dev handoff).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, React concepts preferred).
  • Strong visual design sensibility with knowledge of typography, color, and grid systems.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in no-code/low-code platforms (Framer, Webflow, Bubble).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Experience contributing to or managing a design system.
  • Motion/interaction design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Figma Motion plugins).
