Job Title:

Finishing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Finishing Specialist to oversee and manage the finishing stages of high-rise projects. This role requires expertise in all aspects of finishing, project leadership, team management, quality control, materials and resources management, problem-solving, risk management, client communication, documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of the finishing process for single, high-profile projects.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of finishing specialists and workers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality finishing standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Materials & Resources Management: Oversee the selection, procurement, and management of materials required for finishing work.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and work proactively to resolve challenges and prevent delays.
  • Client Communication: Maintain excellent relationships with clients, offering regular updates on project progress.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project status, budgets, and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of hands-on experience in the finishing industry, with at least 10 years in a lead or management position.
  • Education: Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and equipment.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail.
