Workplace Interior Designer Job

We are looking for a talented and experienced Workplace Interior Designer to join our team. As an Architect for Workplace Interiors, you will be responsible for creating functionally beautiful spaces that reflect clients' vision and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in interior design, specifically in commercial office interiors. You will collaborate with a diverse group of designers, architects, strategists, brand designers, and other professionals throughout all phases of the project.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive design concepts that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Apply outstanding conceptual thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas to clients.
  • Create detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications, using SketchUp and AUTOCAD.
  • Select furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories, and produce material boards to ensure that the design is cohesive and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Follow design guidelines, building codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure that designs are safe and comply with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, maintaining productivity and quality targets.
  • Attend meetings with clients and contractors to discuss design changes and provide guidance and advice.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in SketchUp, AUTOCAD, Photoshop, and Enscape.
  • Excellent conceptual thinking and graphic presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and direction effectively and quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical abilities.
  • Flexibility to manage concurrent projects in various stages of development.
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience required in interior design, specifically in commercial office interiors.
  • Proven experience in workplace interior design.
  • Creative and innovative thinking, with an ability to deliver unique and inspiring designs.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work and design style.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
