Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

This position requires a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) professional to develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to support various development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases/scripts/scenarios on schedule for Functional, Systems Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Open defects as needed.
  • Design, build, and execute automated tests using Java or Python.
  • Maintain automated scripts utilizing an existing framework, adhering to coding standards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design test cases that need to be automated.
  • Identify regression testing needs and create and maintain an Automated Regression Suite.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a software quality professional.
  • Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles.
  • Knowledge and experience in Java or Python, Selenium, Appium, etc. for automation of websites and apps on desktop/Mobile devices.
  • Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting features tested and bugs found.
  • Ability to follow the Scrum process and participate in Scrum meetings.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Automation skills are essential.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Cloud applications is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, GIT, SQL, and databases can be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the BDD framework or Cucumber framework can enhance your skills.
