Director of Technology Job

Job Description:

The role is to lead the technology strategy and execution for an assigned company. As a Director of Technology, you will be responsible for driving product development, project execution, and innovation while working independently within your business unit.

You will also coordinate with the Group CTO and collaborate with other technology leaders across Bhionix.Group to ensure alignment with group-wide technology standards and frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: requirement gathering, architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Own the timely execution of projects, meeting client and internal business expectations.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and other directors to align with group-wide technology standards and frameworks.
  • Build and mentor technical teams (developers, engineers, QA) within the company.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps pipelines, and ensure scalability/security.
  • Implement best practices for agile development, code quality, and system design.
  • Support cross-company tech initiatives, knowledge sharing, and joint product builds.
  • Represent the company in client discussions, government projects, and technical reviews as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8–12 years of professional experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
  • Strong expertise in MERN/MEAN/Full Stack development.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS/Cloud, DevOps, and system architecture.
  • Proven experience in project delivery and team management.
  • Ability to work independently and also coordinate at a group level.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in at least one relevant domain (healthcare, gaming, drones, edtech, enterprise SaaS, or hospitality) preferred.
