We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to drive the development of next-generation automotive audio systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic components and systems that power car audio systems, ensuring high-quality sound and seamless integration with vehicle technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural roles, and knowledge of in-vehicle infotainment systems, audio systems, and automotive vehicle connectivity systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the HW architecture and component selection for next-generation automotive audio systems;
  • Select and recommend next-generation semiconductor solutions for automotive audio, circuit/PCB design, and develop electronic components and systems that power car audio systems;
  • Work closely with vehicle Architecture/system Design, safety engineer & Buyer/purchasing to ensure chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements;
  • Recommend electronic audio components, including Audio amplifiers, Microphone interface/Audio ADC, Audio DSP, Audio power circuitry/PMIC, Speaker interface, and Digital audio interfaces (A2B, Ethernet, etc).
  • Design Active noise cancellation (ANC) and Road noise cancellation (RNC) systems;
  • Develop working knowledge of acoustic measurement instruments and audio data acquisition, analysis systems, and Audio Precision;
  • Collaborate with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology road maps;
  • Support HW Engineering group during advanced design phases, system architecture definitions, and ECU development/qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent engineering;
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural roles;
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment systems, Audio systems, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design, development, and testing;
  • Experience in Automotive ECU design, Audio standards, automotive testing, and certification;
  • Strong teamwork spirit and excellent oral and written communication skills.
