Job Overview:

The successful candidate will lead our site's strategy and direction, overseeing performance governance, people management, and focused improvement.

  • Develop and drive the implementation of the site's master plan for packaging hall & departmental level
  • Set objectives and priorities and lead change management processes for the department
  • Work to maintain alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating all departments to work together in deployment
Leadership Development:

As a key member of our leadership team, you will demonstrate managerial leadership to develop your team against role capabilities.

  • Ensure effective implementation of training & development programmes by aligning site/line management
  • Coordinate training of the trainers (TOT) and evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with Diageo Capability programme
Operational Excellence:

You will provide expert loss & waste leadership and coaching to operational teams.

  • Participate in and lead as required improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology
  • Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste and improve operational flexibility
Communication:

Implement weekly/monthly/quarterly communications to drive engagement and momentum of the ManEx journey.

  • Support task forces and shift-based teams in their deployment of ManEx through regular meetings and communication of activities
  • Define and establish the site leadership team's schedule to support and lead the deployment of ManEx
